Extra Wilds
How to Trigger
Fires by itself while the reels are spinning, in base play only.
What Happens
The paytable says it in a single line: while the reels are spinning, three to six Wild Symbols might appear on the slot and magnify the chances to win — only during base game. Those Wilds are on screen before the lines are evaluated, so they behave as ordinary Wilds for that spin and substitute for everything except the Free Spins moon. On a 5×4 screen that is up to six of twenty positions handed to you, and since Wilds do not expand outside the bonus, this is the mechanic keeping base play alive.
Multipliers
None of its own. The value is coverage, plus the Wild line pay — five Wilds on a line award 3,000 times the bet per line.
Strategy
There is nothing to time or choose; it is a hit-frequency feature. Its real meaning is that base spins are a holding pattern, not a profit centre.

Free Spins
How to Trigger
Three or more scattered Free Spins symbols landing during base play.
What Happens
Three scatters award 10 free spins, four award 25, five award 50. The bet per line and the number of lines stay exactly as they were on the spin that triggered the round, so a cheap trigger cannot be upgraded into an expensive bonus. The scatter works in base play only, which means the round cannot feed itself more spins from the same symbol. This is also the mode where the Wild rules change: inside free spins a landing Wild expands across its whole reel, and the Re-Spin rule hangs off that expansion.
Multipliers
No feature multiplier is published. The round’s value comes from full-reel Wild coverage and the scattered Expanding Wild prizes.
Strategy
Pick a stake you are willing to sit at for fifty spins before the scatters land, not after — the bet is locked the moment the round starts.

Re-Spin Expanding Wilds
How to Trigger
A Wild landing during the free spins round.
What Happens
Four lines of the official paytable cover the whole feature. During free spins mode, when a Wild lands it expands to fill the entire reel. If one or more Wilds expanded, the game triggers one re-spin. Any five Wild symbols on a winning line pay 3,000 times the bet per line. And one or more scattered Expanding Wilds anywhere on the slot pay a prize of their own — one x2, two x5, three x10, four x20 — which the paytable states are paid in addition to the regular payline winnings. A screen with four expanded reels therefore collects twice from the same symbols.
Multipliers
Scattered Expanding Wild prizes: x2 / x5 / x10 / x20 for one, two, three or four of them, stacked on top of line wins.
Strategy
Count expanded reels rather than wins. Four is both the top of the scatter ladder and the board shape that pushes line wins toward the 3,000x cap.

Buy Feature
How to Trigger
Bought from the bet menu, where local regulation allows it.
What Happens
Three products, not one: 40 times the bet buys 10 free spins, 100 buys 25 and 200 buys 50. They are exactly the rounds the scatters award, so nothing about the bonus changes — you are paying to skip the wait. The help page adds that the buy price follows the bet and the spin count you select, and that the bought round reports its own RTP figure in the rules screen. Like the base RTP, that figure is an operator setting rather than a property of the game.
Multipliers
None added by buying. The round runs on the same rules as a scatter trigger.
Strategy
The 200x tier costs five times the 40x tier for five times the spins, so there is no volume discount — only a variance choice between one long round and several short ones.

Where the Multipliers Come From
There is no win multiplier in Whispers of Nyx — not in base play, not in the bonus. What the paytable does list is a prize ladder for scattered Expanding Wilds during free spins: one pays x2, two x5, three x10, four x20, and those are paid in addition to the regular payline winnings. It is the only multiplier-shaped mechanic in the game, and it is why a heavily expanded screen collects twice from the same symbols.
Nothing carries between spins. Expansion resolves inside the spin that caused it, the single re-spin is awarded once per expanding spin, and the bet per line stays fixed for the whole round at whatever it was on the trigger. Payouts in the game's paytable are multiples of the bet per line, not the total stake — divide by 20 to read them against a full-line bet.
Reading a Bonus Round
Free Spins carries the model. Three scattered moons award 10 spins, four award 25, five award 50, and inside that round a landing Wild fills its entire reel while any expansion returns one re-spin. Five Wilds on a line is the biggest single line pay in the game, at 3,000 times the bet per line.
Spinomenal publishes no distribution for these rounds, so any "average bonus win" number quoted elsewhere is invented. What the configuration fixes is the top: 3,000x the bet, with the chance of reaching it reported as 0.000002 — one spin in five hundred thousand.
The Buy Feature compresses the wait, not the edge. The help page notes the bought round reports its own RTP in the rules screen, and like the base figure it is an operator setting — so read it before assuming the purchase is priced against the 95.78% build.
The buy tiers are priced per round rather than per value: 40x for 10 spins, 100x for 25, 200x for 50. Five times the money buys five times the spins and nothing else, so the choice between chaining the cheap tier and splurging on the big one is about variance, not expectation. Set a hard stop before you open the menu.
